  • What inspired you to open your own restaurant?
  • I’m not sure, it’s just something I’ve always wanted since I started cooking at 12. So I've been scoping for opportunities since then. I just never thought it would be now. I’ve sort of anticipated it to be a retirement thing. But I understand now that owning a restaurant means that you’ll never really retire. Haha

  • For both: Playful. Open. Family

  • What’s your dream night-out?
  • Dinner, dancing, and good conversations afterwards 

  • Can you share a memorable or challenging experience you’ve had as a restaurant owner?
  • Definitely when we are just starting out, no team yet. Everyone was working together 

  • How do you stay creative and keep the menu fresh and exciting for your customers?
  • Menu creation for us is very organic. It’s usually rooted in things we want to have but aren’t available. I guess this way, it ends up being fresh and exciting. 

  • Describe your favorite playlist? 
  • One that has tracks that can get me going and wind me down at the same time. 

  • What’s the word that comes to your mind when you see our brand sassh?
  • Cute, crafty, personal

  • What’s a quote or motto that inspires you the most?
  • I once got a fortune cookie that says “don’t just buy things because it’s on sale”, it has taught me to only buy and well.. Do things that I am really into 

  • What advice do you have for someone looking to start their own restaurant?  
  • Never wait. Just start. I’d say the only thing worth waiting for is the right partner(s) 

  • What something on your bucket list?
  • To open a small tailor shop and a school in a remote area. Because everyone deserve access to clothes that fit well and an education. Hehe
